1. These terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Zeelabs Inc (“we,” “us”), which operates 400 – Arba3miyeh (“400”): the iPhone and Android apps, the game service and this website.
By creating an account, signing in or otherwise using 400, you agree to these terms, including the community rules in section 7. If you don’t agree, please don’t use 400. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
2. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old to use 400. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and approve any purchase.
You can’t use 400 if we have banned you, or if the law where you live doesn’t allow it.
3. Your account
Online play needs an account. You can sign in with Apple, Google or email. Your username must be unique, and neither it nor your display name may impersonate anyone or break the community rules.
Your account is personal. Keep your sign-in details private, don’t share or sell your account, and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens on your account, unless it wasn’t your fault.
You can delete your account at any time in the app, under You → Account → Delete account. Deletion is permanent: your coins, cosmetics and progress are removed and can’t be restored. The privacy policy explains what remains.
4. Using 400
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install the apps on devices you own or control and to use 400 for your own entertainment, as long as you follow these terms.
400’s software, design, artwork, sounds and name belong to us or to those who license them to us. The traditional card game itself belongs to everyone.
You must not copy, sell, rent or modify the apps or the service, or try to extract their source code, except where the law gives you that right. You must not overload or disrupt the service, get around its limits or security, or reach it through anything other than our apps and website.
5. Fair play
Play fairly. You must not use bots, scripts or modified apps, exploit bugs, secretly share your cards with other players at Ranked or Quick Play tables, lose on purpose, or use several accounts to gain coins or rating.
If we find cheating, we can remove the coins, rating or results gained from it and take the steps in section 7.
6. What you share
“Your content” means what you share in 400: chat and quick messages, voice, usernames, display names, profile photos and table names. It stays yours, and you are responsible for it.
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, resize, transmit and show your content as needed to run 400, show it to other players and moderate it. This licence ends when the content is removed or your account is deleted, except for copies kept as the privacy policy describes and what other players have already seen.
You confirm that you have the right to share your content and that it doesn’t break these terms or anyone’s rights. Voice chat is live: we don’t record it, but other players could record what they hear on their own devices.
7. Community rules
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive players. Treat the other players with respect. In everything you share, you must not post, upload or say:
- harassment, bullying, threats or hate speech;
- sexual content or nudity, or anything that sexualizes a minor;
- violent or graphic content, or anything that encourages illegal acts or self-harm;
- spam, scams or advertising;
- anyone’s private information, or content you have no right to share;
- anything that impersonates another person.
Automated filters reject common abusive words, but they aren’t perfect. Tap any player at the table to mute, block or report them. We review reports daily. What other players share is theirs, not ours, and we don’t check all of it before it appears.
Depending on how serious it is and whether it is repeated, we can remove content or a profile photo, reset a display name or username, restrict chat, reactions, name changes, table names and photo uploads, or suspend the account. Serious or repeated abuse can mean a permanent ban. To appeal a decision, email contact@zeemsg.com. The Support page has more on how this works.
8. Coins and cosmetics
Coins are virtual items used inside 400 to unlock cosmetics: card animations, card backs, photo frames, celebrations, table reactions and felts. They never change your cards, scores or rating, and every table stays free to play.
Coins and cosmetics have no cash value. They aren’t money or personal property; you have a personal licence to use them in your account. You can’t sell, trade, transfer or cash them out. 400 has no paid-entry tables, wagers or cash prizes.
Coins don’t expire while your account is open. We can change how coins are earned, daily limits and what cosmetics cost; such changes apply from then on. We can correct coins added by mistake or gained by breaking these terms.
9. Coin packs and VIP
Coin packs are in-app purchases sold only in the iPhone app, through the App Store. The Android app has no purchases. Apple takes the payment and shows you the price and any taxes before you buy. We never see your payment details.
Coins from a pack are added to the 400 account you’re signed in to once the purchase is verified, and they can’t be moved to another account. If coins don’t arrive, email contact@zeemsg.com.
Apple handles refunds under its own rules, at reportaproblem.apple.com; we can’t refund App Store purchases ourselves. If Apple refunds a pack, we remove its coins and the VIP progress it gave. If you’ve already spent those coins, the rest is recorded as a debt, and coins you earn in play pay it off first.
VIP levels are reached through your total verified purchases. They give a badge, a card animation and bonus coins on later packs. A refund can lower your level and remove those perks. VIP is not a subscription: nothing renews or charges you automatically.
10. The service
400 is free to download and play. Online play needs an internet connection, and your mobile data or internet charges are yours to pay.
We keep improving 400, so we can add, change or remove features, and we may take it offline for maintenance. We don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. Turn timers keep running if you disconnect, and a bot can play your seat; if you leave a game for good, a bot takes your seat and you can’t return. Test versions from TestFlight or a Google Play test can be unfinished.
If we ever close 400, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice in the app or on this website where we can. Coins and cosmetics end when the service does.
11. Suspension and ending
You can stop using 400 and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we need to in order to protect players or the service, or if the law requires it. We’ll tell you why where we can, and you can appeal by email.
If your account is banned for breaking these terms, you lose its coins and cosmetics, including purchased ones, and we don’t owe you a refund, unless the law says otherwise. Sections 6, 12 and 15 keep applying after your access ends.
12. Warranties and liability
To the extent the law allows, 400 is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those the law requires.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses; loss of coins, cosmetics, rating or progress; interrupted games; or what other players say or do. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of CA$50 and what you paid for coin packs in the 6 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights that the law says can’t be waived, including consumer protection law where you live and, for Quebec consumers, the Consumer Protection Act and the Civil Code of Québec. We don’t exclude liability for bodily or moral injury, or for intentional or gross fault.
13. Apple and Google
If you got 400 from the App Store: these terms are between you and Zeelabs Inc, not Apple. Apple’s standard licence agreement also applies, and you may use the app only as the App Store’s usage rules allow. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content, for its maintenance and support, for any warranties the law requires, and for handling claims about it, including product liability, legal and consumer protection claims, and claims that it infringes someone’s intellectual property. If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies, you can tell Apple, which may refund any price you paid for the app; Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm that you are not in a country under a U.S. government embargo or designated by it as supporting terrorism, and not on a U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and can enforce them against you.
If you got 400 from Google Play: Google Play’s terms of service also apply to your use of Google Play. Google isn’t responsible for 400.
In either case, you must also follow the terms of any other service you use with 400, such as your mobile data plan.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with its effective date. If a change matters, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect, in the app, on this website or by email where we have your address. If you don’t accept a change, you can stop using 400 and delete your account. If you keep using 400 after that date, you accept the change.
15. Law and disputes
If you have a problem, please email us first; most things can be fixed quickly.
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You can bring a claim before the courts of Quebec or, if you are a consumer, the courts where you live. If you live elsewhere, you keep the mandatory protections of your home country.
16. General
These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about 400. If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a rule straight away, we can still do so later. You can’t transfer this agreement. We can transfer it if 400 is sold or reorganized, and your rights stay the same.
These terms are published in English, French and Arabic. The Arabic is a translation for convenience. If the English and French differ, the meaning more favourable to you applies.
